Thirteen children have been born to them, nine of whom are living – Alfred I., Susan C., Sarah E., Stephen P., Rosella V., Robert A., Benedict E., Solomon N. and Lucinda J. One son, Henry L., died in 1878, aged twenty-two years. Mr. Hagan and family are members of the Catholic church. He is a member of the Total Abstinence Society.
