The Campbell Club is a private fine dining club in downtown Owensboro, Kentucky. We serve fresh, American cuisine that highlights local ingredients and a dedication to quality and service. The Campbell Club is an intimate setting with a rich history.
The house was built in 1880 by John Woolfolk, incorporator of the People’s Wharf-Boat and Transfer Company, and it has been home to several prominent local residents, including C.D. Jackson, a relative of President Andrew Jackson, J.D. Powers, an attorney and state legislator, and Dr. W. F. Gillim who lived in the house for thirty one years.
The house was converted into a private dining club in 1959 by Marshall S. Burlew who named the club after his paternal grandmother, Mary Campbell. Since then, the Campbell Club has been a place for members and their guests to share fine dining and good company in an elegant atmosphere
